What is it? 
This class has been specially designed to teach this exciting sport in a safe and fun manner to children and young adults.  While the participants learn to punch and kick on pads and shields they are taught the values of team work whilst working together.  Confidence grows as the children  learn to focus energy and control their bodies by using movements that most other children cannot.  They will learn the will to succeed which carries over into all areas of life.  If you are worried about your child not getting enough exercise or having low self esteem which can easily lead to becoming a victim of bullying this class is for your child.  We can take children who are normally shy and reserved and make them into more outgoing and positive individuals as they see themselves progress through the system and learn to do things that they previously thought were unobtainable to them. 

Who is it for?
Children aged 9-15

What will I learn?
You will learn the exciting sport of kickboxing which includes all the kicks and punches commonly seen in competition.  You will learn how to strike pads correctly and have the opportunity to get fit in a fun way.  Your child will learn values such as honour, respect and discipline.  Also, your child is less likely to become a victim of bullying through their increased levels of confidence. We will also focus some of the classes on practical self defence to ensure that should your child find themselves in harm’s way they can act sensibly and get away safely.
